Holy Ground is an exciting three-day conference exploring themes of art, the environment and their relationship with faith. Through a series of presentations, panel debates and discussions we will explore;
- how artists can contribute to the life of a rural church taking inspiration from the natural environment and religious traditions.
- the challenges facing the natural environment and our role in reducing climate change.
- how as a community we can connect with the natural environment, engaging in creative practice and reflective prayer inspired by the landscape around us.
Confirmed speakers include: Frances Spalding, art historian, critic and biographer and Dr Louise Hampson, Research Fellow from The Centre for the Study of Christianity and Culture.
