To mark the completion of a major project to conserve the Bloomsbury Group murals, in partnership with Art+Christianity (a charity with over 20 years experience in fostering and exploring the dialogue between art, Christianity and other religious faiths) we will deliver “Holy Ground”, an exciting three-day conference exploring themes of art, the environment and their relationship with faith. Through a series of presentations, panel debates and discussions we will explore;
- how artists can contribute to the life of a rural church taking inspiration from the natural environment and religious traditions.
- the challenges facing the natural environment and our role in reducing climate change.
- how as a community we can connect with the natural environment, engaging in creative practice and reflective prayer inspired by the landscape around us.
Holy Ground will take place on 17th, 18th and 19th September 2021 and further details will follow shortly on our speakers and how you can get involved.
We are extremely grateful to Lady Peel Legacy Trust and Westhill Endowment Trust for their kind support, enabling us to deliver this exciting event.
